BREAKING: Douye Diri Sworn In As Bayelsa State Governor

Following order by the five-man panel of the apex court, led by Justice Mary Peter-Odili to the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the Certificate of Return issued Lyon, the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, after it ruled that the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Degi-Eremienyo, had presented forged certificates.

BREAKING: Douye Diri Sworn In As Bayelsa State Governor

The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Diri Duoye, has been sworn in as the Governor of Bayelsa State.

Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo had earlier taken oath of office as deputy governor of the state.
