BREAKING!!! Buhari Unveils His Media Aide Onochie, 3 Others As INEC Commissioners

  • President Buhari has nominated his aide on social media, Lauretta Onochie as a national commissioner of INEC.
  • The president also nominated three others from Katsina, Ekiti and Jigawa states
  • Onochie is one of the outspoken media aides of President Buhari

The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has instructed the Senate to confirm the appointment of one of his media aides, Lauretta Onochie, for Delta State’s National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission Commissioner.

Others are Prof. Mohammed Sani Katsina), Prof. Kunle Ajayi (Ekiti), and Seidu Ahmed (Jigawa).

reports that the Senate president, Ahmad Lawan read Buhari’s letter of request at plenary on Tuesday, October 13.

The president also nominated Professor Mohammed Sani representing Katsina; Professor Kunle Ajayi representing Ekiti state and Seidu Ahmed representing Jigawa state for confirmation as national commissioners of INEC.
