The bill seeking to abolish the dichotomy between the higher national diploma (HND) and bachelor’s degree has passed third reading at the upper chamber of the national assembly.
The issue of removing the dichotomy between HND and BSc holders which has lingered for long might be put to rest after the bill passed third reading on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
This was possible after Ahmad Kaita, chairman of the committee on tertiary institutions, presented a report and six clauses were voted on by the senators.
