The incoming Joe Biden’s administration which has been hampered for weeks by President Donald Trump who has refused to concede defeat has made key appointments waiting for official kick-off.
The president-elect is breaking records with his cabinet appointments including the nomination of former Federal Reserve, Chair Janet Yellen as Treasury Secretary.
With her nomination, Yellen is set to become the first woman to run the Treasury Department with Adewale Adeyemo, who would be the first Black deputy Treasury secretary.
The president-elect also nominate the president of the liberal think tank the Center for American Progress, Neera Tanden, to run the Office of Management and Budget who would be the first woman of color to lead that agency
This is coming as Biden announced an all-female White House senior communications team, including former Obama White House communications director Jen Psaki as press secretary.
Trump is still strong with his claims of foul play without evidence that Biden’s Nov. 3 electoral victory was due to fraud.
Trump has lost almost all court cases challenging Joe Biden’s victory including the recent one before the pennsylvania’s supreme court where he alleged that the democrats stole the elections with USB drives, alleging that every drive gave Biden 50,000 votes.
