Former Argentine professional footballer and football manager, Diego Maradona has passed away at the age of 60.
The football legend suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest and was left in a serious condition.
The deceased underwent a surgery for a blood clot on the brain earlier this month and the surgery was successful but the legend could not make it.
Maradona was one of the two joint winners of the FIFA Player of the 20th Century award and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, and by many as the greatest ever.
The football legend went into coaching and managed the Argentina national team between 2008-2010.
As of the time of his death, he was in charge of Gimnasia de La Plata, a professional Argentine sports club.
