Anambra Guber: Zero adherence to COVID-19 protocols during election

Following the ongoing Anambra election, where indigenes of the state were seen turning out in mass to cast their vote for their different candidates across all parties it was reported that there is almost little adherence to COVID-19 norms.

According to reports there was strong turnout of voters at each polling unit but the voters were seen not adhering to COVID-19 protocols.

Many voters showed up without face masks, indicating that there was no social separation in the polling booths.

The sole COVID-19 protocol followed in Alor ward one, polling unit 002, where the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, is anticipated to vote, is the use of hand sanitizer.
