After 11 Days In Isolation, Fayemi Recovers From COVID-19

Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi, says he has recovered from COVID-19 after spending 11 days in isolation.

The governor took to his Twitter handle on Saturday to announce his new health status.

He said a subsequent COVID-19 test he took came back negative.

While thanking God, well wishers and his medical team for his recovery, the governor called for more efforts to tackle the pandemic.

He wrote on Twitter:

After 11 days in isolation, I received news that my COVID-19 repeat test came back negative.

My sincere gratitude goes to God Almighty, my family, my medical team and all well wishers for the prayers and solidarity.

We must continue to do all we can to tackle the pandemic. JKF.
