AFCON 2021: CAF president gives verdict on Nigeria, Tunisia clash

Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has issued his opinion on Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2021 match against Tunisia.

Nigeria’s AFCON 2021 match against Tunisia is a “important game,” according to Motsepe, who will be in attendance at the stadium in Garoua to watch the match.

He also stated his belief that whatever happens between Nigeria and Tunisia will be a source of pride for the CAF.

On Sunday night, Nigeria will play Tunisia in the AFCON 2021 Round of 16 match at the Roumde Adija stadium in Cameroon.

Speaking to Mosaique FM on Saturday, Motsepe said: “Big game, I will be there.

“Two nations with a proud football history and I’m confident that whichever proceeds will make us very proud.”

The kick-off time for the Nigeria vs Tunisia game is 8 pm.
