A 33-year-old lady identified simply as Sharon was dragged to court alongside her sister, Nyasha Kudangirana for assaulting her husband, 30-year-old Moreblessing Maka, to death in Zimbabwe.
It was gathered that sharon and her husband, Maka had a misunderstanding which erupted into a heated argument and resulted in a fight between the two.
Sharon’s sister, Kudangirana who joined in the fight in support of her sister, picked up a hoe handle and struck the sister’s husband two times with it on the head.
After the two sisters overpowered the deceased, a neighbour reportedly intervened and restrained them from further assaulting Maka.
Maka then went to his parents’ house but his condition began to deteriorate and later passed on upon admission at Parirenyatwa Hospital.
The chief magistrate, Judith Taruvinga while presiding over the case remanded the two sisters in custody till December 29.
