Nigeria will play Mexico in a friendly ahead of the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
Despite the fact that the Super Eagles did not qualify for the tournament, El Tri is one of the 29 countries who have already reserved their spots.
Mexico qualified from North America, together with the United States of America and Canada.
Nigeria advanced to the tournament’s final African qualifying round, but was eliminated following a 1-1 tie with Ghana at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
